Find the right cuvette in three steps
Start from what you know: the path length your method calls for, the sample volume you have, or the wavelength range of your measurement.
By path length
10 mm is the standard for most UV/Vis methods; shorter paths keep concentrated samples in the linear range.
By sample volume
Match the cell to what you actually have. Micro and ultra-micro cells hold a full path length with microliters of sample.
By wavelength range
Quartz SUPRASIL® (QS) covers the full UV/Vis range. Optical glass is a cost-effective choice for visible-only work.

Quartz cuvettes are compatible with strong acids, except HF. Quartz cuvettes are compatible with strong base, up to a pH of ~11. Should you have specific questions, please reach out to our experts!
Yes. Quartz glass is not affected by most organic solvents. It can be susceptible to really strong bases and acids.
