Product Overview

The TrayCell 2.0 is a precision fiber-optic measuring cell designed for spectrophotometric analysis of small sample volumes. The system features an integrated mirror cap that ensures consistent optical path length without the need for calibration or readjustment.

How It Works

  1. Sample Application: A small drop (0.7 µl – 10 µl) is pipetted onto the window
  2. Cap Placement: The cap with integrated mirror is placed on top
  3. Light Path: Light travels through the sample via prisms and fiber-optic waveguides
  4. Reflection: Light is reflected by the mirror back through the sample
  5. Detection: Light returns to the detector via the waveguides

The precisely defined spacing between the window and mirror ensures accurate, constant optical path length.
